The winter of 2024 was a strange one; a winter where I found myself standing on a foggy, desolate street, and shouting to a bald man wearing striped socks, holding a smoke-billowing French horn.

Working with the band I was able to utilise the talents of bandleader Martin Smth and write a script based on a car salesman character called; Tex Smith! The concept was to sell the sophisicated jazz music with all the care and attention of hocking a dodgy automobile. We shot on location near the venue, St Michaels in the Hamlet in Liverpool, using both the beautiful church frontage and a nearby carpark to mock-up the car lot.
