FEATURED PROJECT
Design: Qe Solutions / Envicool Exhibition
For the team at MJ Quinn, I produced another exhibition stand and handout leaflet for the QE Solutions data cooling brand. I utilized the core concept I created a few years back of the astronaut and his high-tech suit that represents the cooling technology of the product. The emphasis is on the value of storing information safely - the data is precious, like the life of the astronaut. The show was a great success by all accounts, and my stand design was called by Stephen Port

The winter of 2024 was a strange one; a winter where I found myself standing on a foggy, desolate street, and shouting to a bald man wearing striped socks, holding a smoke-billowing French horn.

Branding, Signage, Logo Design: The Little Peacock, South Liverpool
This was an interesting brief and an exercise in helping write the brief with the client. A new and exciting space was opening locally, and they would be catering to parents and their toddlers during the day, with a view to later develop the kitchen into a take-away and cool performance venue.

Working with the band I was able to utilise the talents of bandleader Martin Smth and write a script based on a car salesman character called; Tex Smith! The concept was to sell the sophisicated jazz music with all the care and attention of hocking a dodgy automobile. We shot on location near the venue, St Michaels in the Hamlet in Liverpool, using both the beautiful church frontage and a nearby carpark to mock-up the car lot. When not peeking through the net curtains, my other neighbors are leading their mundane lives; they may be ironing their office shirts or hoovering quavers from their Hyundais, but meanwhile, there is a hive of activity coming from next door. I do love Pentax cameras but I have jumped ship to also a more a brand with technologically more advanced system. Some time back I designed this poster to express my appreciation, not only for their history and craftsmanship but for the years of experince and joy I've had using them. The Brief: This packaging commission was for a cosmetics company and one of their product lines: "Fusion". The brief was simple: a packaging design to present a selection of skincare products for the Christmas gift season. The approach: The Fusion logo gave me a lead here. I was commisioned to create photography for the Samshield range of Equastrian wear. The day was an unexpected joy with a a location at a stables and a model Robyn.
