Design: The Weave album cover

Simplicity, listening, and collaborating with the client are such important things to bear in mind. Martin Smith, The Weave's band leader, often has a very personal plan in mind, and here was no exception. Utilising Mrs. Smith's artwork (Martin's mum), I built a design that was classic, structured, and light. This feel was in contrast to the strangeness and free-mindedness of not only the artwork but also the sounds on the vinyl. Another beautiful album full of wit, whimsy, reverie, and the sounds of jazz with some other music smuggled under its arm. Sizzle!
