Design, Photography: Black Hound Howling Album cover

Presented here my work with Lizzie Nunnery and Vidar Norheim on their stirring and poetic album "Black Hound Howling".

A mix of photo-montage and simple typography were enough to create my concept of waiting and readiness. The album has influences from the great sounds of Americana: folk, gospel and bluegrass and the wonderful lyrics spilt out into my imagery. I sourced several crow feathers and it's them that you can see tumbling in the wind. Somewhere a black hound is howling and the Liverpool skyline beckons the influence across the Atlantic to our port city.
