This branding and brochure commission was undertaken as part of my role as art director at a small agency. It was a concept that utilised the MD's personal attributes as his calling card, as his distinctive physical look gave rise to the campaign "Meet the Egg."
The concept: Meet the Egg
This is an older piece that I've included in my portfolio as someone mentioned this to me in a networking situation. They had remembered it as good marketing but didn't realize that I had done it – what a lovely moment that was! Even recently, the concept that an egg is good design is a given and was used by another web design provider. My concept took this 'given' as part of its fabric of the concept and explored it further. I've included the original copy below.


The copywriting
As part of my service, I often craft a piece of copywriting or a script. I'm a published writer and a runner-up in the well-respected WOW festival for my novel.

Everything about the egg is good design.
They protect and feed the young.
They pop out with ease and they taste great with bacon.
Good design lasts - eggs have been around a lot longer than chickens.
They have a unique elliptical shape that is beauty and function combined...
