Photography: Lizzie Nunnery, Company of Ghosts

Around 2010, I worked on a beautiful album by Liverpool artist Lizzie Nunnery. Lizzie was a long-time collaborator, and these shots presented were part of the overall CD package design. Taken as a late autumnal afternoon sun broke onto the grounds of St James' Garden, the pictures captured the melancholy and poetry of Lizzie's sound. The colour red ran throughout the visual language, and the first shot was processed in Photoshop and printed on scanned antique photo paper and then re-photographed again to form the cover design. Here is the cover shot and the shots we never got to use.
