Bluewhistle Design Poster: Cartographers
Bluewhistle Design Poster: Cartographers
Project Overview

This was a fascinating commission for a small theatre group named The Alligator Club. They required a logo and four posters to advertise their productions, which were staged in unique locations.

Collaboration

The writers were lan Hill, Kim Moore, Lindsay Rodden and Joe Ward Munrow.

Music and songs are written and performed by Martin Heslop, Vidar Norheim and Lizzie Nunnery.

Creative Approach

Who doesn't love an old map? I wanted to express an almost neutral sense of intrigue, to be concept light and just a subtle invitation to see the show.

This essay eloquently demonstrates the beauty of creative poster design! The way Cartographers was visually represented exemplifies the potential of innovative poster design in capturing a story's essence. I enjoy how every aspect, from color scheme to font, lends depth and intrigue. It's thrilling to see how intelligent design can enhance a production's identity and create an indelible impression on audiences. Excellent work, Blue Whistle Design!
